Laser rejuvenation devices

Laser skin rejuvenation procedure

Laser rejuvenation equipment is represented on the market by laser ablation devices (solid and fractional), non-ablative laser rejuvenation devices (erbium, neodymium, diode lasers) and laser phoresis devices. Depending on the wavelength, the laser radiation penetrates to different depths and affects strictly defined targets in the tissues (structural proteins, blood, water, pigment), so each laser rejuvenation device solves its own range of aesthetic problems.

Devices for laser ablation

The main target of ablative lasers for rejuvenation is water, which evaporates during the procedure. At the level of damage, an active process of cell regeneration is launched, the skin is renewed, rejuvenated and firmed. Continuous laser ablation (laser peeling) is very painful and requires lengthy rehabilitation, which is why experts now prefer fractional (point) laser rejuvenation devices. They are considered an alternative to surgical facelift - the results are truly impressive. The fractional laser rejuvenation procedure is indicated for pronounced signs of aging: ptosis, deep wrinkles, age-related pigmentation, visible imperfections in the skin relief.

Non-ablative laser rejuvenation devices

The group of devices for non-ablative laser rejuvenation is quite large. Neodymium lasers are well suited for removing vascular patterns from the skin (the target is blood hemoglobin). Diode lasers for rejuvenation primarily affect collagen, causing its remodeling and, therefore, lifting and tightening of the skin. Non-ablative erbium lasers work in the same way as ablative laser rejuvenation devices - they evaporate water and damage tissue, activating regeneration - but do not affect the surface of the skin.

Apparatus for laser phoresis

Laser phoresis equipment allows deep penetration into the skin of rejuvenating cocktails (most often hyaluronic acid preparations play this role). This procedure allows you to deeply moisturize the skin, completely smooth fine lines, improve skin tone and texture. Laserophoresis does not cause tissue heating and gently stimulates natural renewal processes.

What kind of equipment to choose for laser rejuvenation is a difficult question, since the "specialization" of lasers is quite narrow. In well-known aesthetic medicine clinics, ablative lasers are more often used to achieve the radical rejuvenation effect. Beauty salons usually offer non-invasive laser rejuvenation or anti-aging laser phoresis. The decision to buy one or another laser for rejuvenation depends on many factors: budget, local demand, specialist qualifications.
